How does barcode tracking work?
Each waste bag is labelled with a barcode that is linked to your facility. The barcode is scanned at collection and again along the route, so the waste can be traced to treatment.
How should waste be segregated?
Waste is separated at the point of generation into yellow, red, white and blue categories. The segregation guide on this website shows what goes in each one and how it is treated.
